The Big Bear City Community Services District Sewer Department operates two CCTV Inspection Vans. These vans operate our CCTV Sewer Cameras within our sewer lines. The cameras are driven down the sewer lines by an operator and have the ability to record video, take photos, and visually inspect our main lines and lateral connections. While operating the camera the CCTV Operator inputs any observations into a inspection application that saves all of this useful data. These cameras give us a live look at the condition of our pipes and we are able to find potential problems and schedule them for repair before they cause sewer spills.
